time brings change doesn't it? something i've been noticing more and more recently. i've been at deviantART...a little over a year now i think, and i've enjoyed not only meeting new friends, but also enjoyed what i do...but, things change, time brings change. it saddens me when i dwell on it so i usually try not to, but i'm not feeling it anymore. i rarely write a fic because i'm inspired anymore, i write because i feel i should...and that's wrong. i first started writing fanfiction because it was a means of getting around my depression, but it seems as though that is no longer the case. it's rarely theraputic now, i feel pressure that i shouldn't feel to regularly keep updated...and it saddens me.

i think now it's about time to stop kidding myself - i'm not back, and to tell the truth i'm not sure i ever will be back here in the way i used to. don't get me wrong, i'm not leaving deviantART, nor am i ceasing to be a pokeshipper, but i'm scaling down my activities here now. i've got problems of my own to deal with that can't be pushed to one side. i'm starting college - new exams, new people, new subjects...old friends leaving, old hobbies and haunts abandoned. times are changing and there's nothing i can do about it, i'm sick of feeling the way i do now, i've got to sort it out...if possible.

so then, this isn't strictly a goodbye, i'll probably still be here just as often...in fact very little will change probably, but i'm only going to write fics now that i really have a desire to write, rather than forcing myself to do something half-hearted and rubbish. also i will be devoting much more time to studies and the like as i will inevitably have to, and also to the Sollus Project to finally get it up and running.

thanks to everyone, you've made my time here on DA one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life...and with any luck will continue to do so
